I've actually updated my blog!!!

I know, it's very shocking that I have fianlly updated my blog. We finally broke down and got DSL. I was tired of everything taking forever, not being able to post pictures and tying up the phone line. Me and Reuben agreed that it was time to upgrade. I hope you enjoy my new posts!

Caleb on the slide

We were given a swing set by our next door neighbors and Caleb absolutely loves it. He thinks that the slide is the best thing ever! He wants to slide down it over and over again but eventually mom wears out. :)

We bought Caleb this chair at Ross and he thought it was great to have a chair of his very own.

We put Caleb on Chris and Kristen's trampoline and Caleb did very good on keeping his balance on it and he absolutely loved it.

Caleb's First Birthday!

I can't believe that Caleb is one! My baby isn't a baby anymore.
:( But, Caleb's birthday was such a blast! For the first time since we have had this house it actually felt cramped. We ended up having 24 people total in our house. Caleb is definately loved by all. He loved all the attention and the gifts and of course, the cake. There are more pictures below that show how his birthday went.

Oh Happy Day!

Caleb was so excited when he saw all his presents, he just wanted to dig right in. We had to keep him out of them until everybody got there and that was definately a chore. He was so excited when he finally got to open them.

Caleb's First Birthday Cake

I bought some stuff at Wal-Mart that was for a first birthday. I had a banner as shown in the first picture and then there was a whole set for the cake. There was a floor mat, the little banner that goes around the tray, the bib and the hat. He looked so cute! Of course as you can see the banner didn't last very long and the hat was soon to go, but it was cute as long as it lasted.

The Bringing of the Cake

Reuben and I bought this mini cake at Wal-Mart. We had a sheet cake that I decorated for everyone else but we wanted him to be able to dive right in to his own cake. As you will see, he thoroughly loved his cake.
We stripped Caleb down to his diaper and put him in his high chair. He was so excited when he saw the cake. It was so cute to watch him face dive into it. He had it everywhere, his hands, arms, legs and feet. Kim was also trying to get him to put it in his hair. We all had a blast watching him eat it.

Got Milk?

Caleb was starting to get fussy when he was eating his cake and so we gave him a bottle. He downed that bottle very quickly. Who can blame him? Look at how much cake he ate! Plus, you gotta have milk with chocolate cake right?

Have Your Cake and Eat It Too!

I still cannot believe that Caleb ate half to three-forths of his cake!! I guess he liked it.....alot. Just watching him eat it was making me sick.

My First Haircut!

Reuben and I said that Caleb looked like he had a mullet so it was time he had his first haircut. I was not about to do it myself and so the day before his birthday on March 8th, Caleb got his first haircut. We took him to the salon that is right next door to our house. He was actually very good about it. He just wanted to look around and see what was going on. Everybody says that he looks like a little man. My baby is all grown up!
